Espresso: Maniac Roasters

Roasted just a few blocks from our bakery, Maniac looks for beans that "curls their toes" so you can expect the coffee to be a delightful indulgence. Currently their espresso is sourced from Hines Public Market Coffee in Vancouver, B.C. (This coffee has won national awards in Barista competitions). These coffees are known as relationship coffees, meaning the roaster sources the beans directly from the grower and pays them above fair trade prices. Hines coffee is simply amazing. It produces a beautiful rusty crema that oozes out of the spout like honey.

Starting with lovely beans is essential, but the beans are only a part of your latte. Our expertly trained baristas become one with the grinder, the espresso machine, the humidity, the tamp, the water temperature and the milk to create a beautifully crafted delicious drink every time.

Drip Coffee: Tony's

Also roasted locally, organic, and fair trade. Tony's has been in the coffee business since 1971 and have remained true to their artisan craft of roasting coffee beans. Coffee is still roasted by hand in small batches to produce the most delicious, finest quality coffee around.
