La Vie En Rose French Bakery is a small artisan bakery in Anacortes, Washington with a retail store in Bellingham, Washington.  Established in 1994, it has grown to include a full line of artisan breads, cakes and pastries which are sold at both the wholesale and retail level.

La Vie En Rose has been selected several times as the Best Bakery in Anacortes by the Anacortes American’s annual readers’ poll, most recently receiving the award in 2000.  Recipes from the bakery are included in the San Juan Classics II Cookbook (Dawn Ashbach and Janice  Veal) and we are listed in Cooking with Artisan Bread (Gwenyth Bassetti and Jean Galton).
